Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Realise 4 Consultancy Limited (company number 360889, 2 Bellevue Lawn, Delgany, Co. Wicklow, A63 DT63, Ireland), which provides GiveFeedback.io ("we", "us"). GiveFeedback.io is jointly owned by Realise 4 Consultancy Limited and Vidasoft Developments S.L., which develops, maintains and operates the service for it. They apply to the web application at app.givefeedback.io, the feedback widget, and the website givefeedback.io. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you use GiveFeedback.io on behalf of a company, you accept these terms for that company.

1. The service

GiveFeedback.io lets you add a feedback button to websites you manage. People who visit those websites can capture what they see, annotate it and send it to you, together with technical information from their browser. You can review the reports in your dashboard and, if you connect them, send them to Notion or Asana.

We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we remove a feature that is a material part of a paid plan you are using, we'll tell you in advance and you may cancel and receive a refund for the unused part of the current period.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information when you sign up.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account, including by people you invite.
Invited team members and clients get read-only access to the projects you share with them.

3. Plans, prices and payment

The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit. Paid plans (Pro and Company) are monthly subscriptions. Current plans, limits and prices are on the pricing page. Prices are in euros.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your card at the start of each billing period until you cancel. You receive an invoice for each payment.
Changing plan takes effect straight away and is prorated: you pay or are credited the difference for the rest of the period.
If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until it is resolved.
We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change affects you, and you can cancel before it applies.
Limits (projects, feedback reports, team members) are those of your plan. When you reach a limit, new feedback reports are stored but hidden, and are not sent to your integrations, until you upgrade or free up space. We email you before you reach the limit.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for and then moves to the Free plan; you won't be charged again. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

5. Your content and your visitors' data

"Your content" means everything submitted to your projects: screenshots, annotations, descriptions and the technical information attached to them. You keep all rights to it. You give us the permission we need to store, process and display it in order to provide the service.
Screenshots can show anything visible on your website, including personal data. You are responsible for using the widget lawfully on your websites, for informing your visitors that feedback reports may include a screenshot and technical browser data, and for not collecting more personal data than you need.
For personal data in your content, you are the controller and we act as your processor. The data processing terms in section 9 apply.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use GiveFeedback.io to:

install the widget on websites you are not authorised to manage;
collect sensitive data (such as health or payment card data) through screenshots or descriptions when you can avoid it;
send unlawful, infringing or harmful content, or malware;
try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the limits or security of the service;
resell the service without our written permission.

"Unlimited" in a plan means without a fixed cap for normal use by your organisation. We may contact you if usage is far above normal for that plan.

We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these rules. Where possible, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

7. Third-party services

If you connect Notion, Asana or sign in with Google, your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for them, and integrations may stop working if a third party changes its service.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep GiveFeedback.io available and secure, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Support is provided by email according to your plan (none on Free, email on Pro, priority email on Company).

9. Data processing terms

When we process personal data on your behalf (section 5), we:

process it only to provide the service and on your documented instructions (these terms and your use of the service);
ensure that people with access to it are bound by confidentiality;
protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures;
use Vidasoft Developments S.L. (which develops and operates the service) and the other sub-processors listed in our privacy policy, under contracts with the same data protection obligations, and tell you about changes so you can object;
help you respond to requests from individuals and with your other obligations under data protection law, where reasonable;
tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting your data;
delete your content when you delete it or close your account, unless the law requires us to keep it;
give you the information you reasonably need to show compliance.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period (or €100 if you are on the Free plan).

If you are a consumer, you also keep the rights the law gives you, and this section doesn't affect them.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time by emailing hello@givefeedback.io. We may end these terms with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach them. When the agreement ends, we delete your account and content as described in the privacy policy.
